You only have to look at this picture to see how much this kid loves his baseball! I mean he tucked his socks into his pants and look at all that cardinal  gear. Not only does Landon love the game but he is super talented with a powerful swing, speed, and strong arm. Congratulations Landon on being All-Star of the Week! 

Max is a Building Blocks Baseball veteran with several seasons of experience. He continues to improve every season! Max is a good listener who has always been super helpful to Coach Ken when it is time to clean up at the end of practice and is a great help with the younger players showing them the BBB player expectations and how to act like a ball player!

Congratulations to Adler on being named Building Blocks Baseball's All-Star of the Week. Adler is crazy competitive and loves baseball. After watching a clip from "The Natural", Adler displayed his own "Light Tower Power", congratulations Adler!

I told this Building Blocks Baseball all-star that he needed to run around the bases twice. He says "I got it coach, Ken. Twice, just like Aldis!" I said what?? , and he says, "You know twice as nice guarantee!" Congratulations on being All-Star of the week Milo! 

Rosalie took a while to warm up to Coach Ken. Admittedly, Coach can be a lot to take in at first. Rosalie has done a little more in practice each week. Little by little she has become a superstar and you can tell she loves Building Blocks and playing baseball with Coach Ken! 

Dakota has seen her skills improve so much over the last few weeks. I am so proud of her growth but I am most proud of something that happened last week at practice. Dakota had hit the tee a couple of times during her round of BP. I tried to give her a little encouragement and Dakota says to me, “Don’t worry Coach Ken, I don’t give up!” How awesome is that attitude?

Eddie is enjoying and learning so much in his rookie season of Building Blocks Baseball. Eddie’s mom shared this story with me: one random morning, Eddie asked me “why is coach Ken so loud?” Admittedly Coach Ken Is a little loud and a lot to take in Eddie! Keep swinging for the fences rookie!

Building Blocks Baseball is more than just getting better at baseball, it is also about caring about your team. Evelyn is so sweet! When Coach Ken lost the tug of war challenge (again), while the rest of the team celebrated their victory, Evelyn rushed to Coach Ken to ask if he was okay! Sweet girl! 

When a girl shows up for her first practice with a pink bat bag she gets your attention. Dylan did not dissapoint. She has a sweet left handed swing and a passion for the game. I love it when Building Blocks Baseball becomes a family tradition. First it was her brother now Dylan contiues the fun! Congratulations to Dylan for being Building Blocks Baseball All-Star of the week!

Building Blocks Baseball hates Kindergarten because it takes away some of my favorites every year at about this time. This year will be no exception as Miller takes his talents to KIndergarten. His powerful swing, his infectious smile, and his love of the game will be missed. Congratulations to Miller for being Building Blocks Baseball All-Star of the week!

When a player shows up to their first Building Blocks Baseball practice in full uniform they get your attention and expectations also become very high. Mack exceeded these lofty expectations with his performance in his first practice. Mack was spraying line drives all over the gym, making routine plays and some diving plays too, and even throwing BBs on the dot. His speed reminded me of an Olympic sprinter. It may have been his first Building Blocks Baseball Practice but was sure not his first time on a baseball diamond. Congratulations to Mack for being Building Blocks Baseball All-Star of the week!

Sampson has always been an outstanding player in his previous seasons of Building Blocks Baseball. In this past season, Sampson has taken his game to a new level. He's getting better and better each week with coach pitch. But what won him this award was his dedication to his teammates and his skill at showing them the proper way to play baseball. Play hard, play smart, have fun, and always have great hair! Congratulations to Sampson for being Building Blocks Baseball All-Star of the week!

Billy has participated in several seasons of Building Blocks Baseball. In his first season, he wore a Cub hat to every practice. I'm proud to say that his conversion to Cardinal fandom is complete! Billy loves baseball almost as much as Coach Ken. Billy is super talented he has speed, he can hit, he has a strong arm, and he has made such sick plays that we have had to call the doctor! Congratulations to Billy on being Building Blocks Baseball All-Star of the week!

Alex has been in the Building Blocks Baseball program for multiple seasons and I'm super proud of the progress he has made especially this current season. Alex crushes the ball from the left side, loves to play defense, and is quick with a smile. Alex is always in a great mood and ready for baseball! Congratulations Alex on being Building Blocks Baseball All-Star of the week!

Congratulations to Chloe on being named the first-ever Building Blocks Baseball all-star of the week! While Chloe displayed awesome hitting and fielding this week, the care she showed to her teammate earned her the award. Chloe noticed, before coach Ken, that a teammate had lost a shoe and was crying. Chloe came to the rescue and helped the teammate get the shoe back on and back into the game! Great job Chloe!
